Description

Fluffy and protein-packed biscuits perfect for a nourishing breakfast.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup protein powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup diced ham or sausage
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or feta)
  • Optional herbs and spices to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, protein powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir gently.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and eggs.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until just combined.
  5. Fold in the diced ham or sausage and shredded cheese.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a lined baking sheet, spaced apart.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

These biscuits can be prepared in advance and refrigerated for up to 24 hours before baking.
