Description

Delicious crispy bites filled with seasoned chicken, mozzarella, and bacon, perfect for game day gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese (Cut into cubes)
  • 6 slices Cooked Bacon (Crumble before use)
  • 1 lb Ground Chicken
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo Sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Plain Flour
  • 2 large Eggs (Beaten)
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs (Panko or Regular)
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, crumbled bacon, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until evenly incorporated.
  2. With your hands, take a small portion of the chicken mixture and flatten it into a patty. Place a cube of mozzarella cheese in the center and wrap the chicken around the cheese, forming a tight ball. Repeat until you’ve used all the mixture.
  3. Set up three shallow bowls with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  4. Roll each bomb first in flour, then dip in eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot or deep fryer over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  6. Carefully add a few bombs to the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.
  7. Remove the bombs with tongs and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  8. Serve immediately with extra buffalo sauce or ranch for dipping.

Notes

These bombs can be prepared a day ahead. Store in the refrigerator and fry them right before serving. For a lighter option, consider air-frying.
