Description
Delicious crispy bites filled with seasoned chicken, mozzarella, and bacon, perfect for game day gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese (Cut into cubes)
- 6 slices Cooked Bacon (Crumble before use)
- 1 lb Ground Chicken
- 1/2 cup Buffalo Sauce
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 cup Plain Flour
- 2 large Eggs (Beaten)
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs (Panko or Regular)
- 2 cups Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, crumbled bacon, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until evenly incorporated.
- With your hands, take a small portion of the chicken mixture and flatten it into a patty. Place a cube of mozzarella cheese in the center and wrap the chicken around the cheese, forming a tight ball. Repeat until you’ve used all the mixture.
- Set up three shallow bowls with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
- Roll each bomb first in flour, then dip in eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot or deep fryer over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully add a few bombs to the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.
- Remove the bombs with tongs and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Serve immediately with extra buffalo sauce or ranch for dipping.
Notes
These bombs can be prepared a day ahead. Store in the refrigerator and fry them right before serving. For a lighter option, consider air-frying.
