Description

A comforting dish featuring tender chicken and zesty cheese wrapped in flaky crescent rolls, baked to golden perfection.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent rolls (8-count)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish and set it aside.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles. At the wide end of each triangle, place a spoonful of cooked chicken along with a sprinkle of shredded cheese. Roll up each crescent from the wide end to the tip and place them seam side down in the baking dish.
  3. Whisk together the cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth. Pour evenly over the crescents in the baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese over the top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 25 to 30 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can prepare this a day in advance and refrigerate it until ready to bake. Using a rotisserie chicken can save time.
