Description

A comforting and hearty meatloaf casserole layered with melted cheddar cheese and a tangy ketchup topping, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, milk, onion, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly in a greased casserole dish.
  4. Whisk together the ketchup and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl.
  5. Spread the ketchup mixture over the meatloaf mixture.
  6. Bake for 1 hour or until cooked through and bubbly.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
