Description

A warm and comforting dish featuring tender chicken enveloped in a rich, creamy sauce served over fluffy rice.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions; set aside and keep warm.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté chopped onions and minced garlic until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and sear in the skillet for about 5 minutes on each side.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and allow the sauce to thicken, about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Serve creamy chicken over warm rice, generously coating both.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days. For a vegetarian version, substitute chicken with tofu and use vegetable broth.
