Description

Crispy Roasted Cabbage Steaks are a delicious and easy side dish that brings out the natural sweetness of cabbage while providing a satisfying crunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head of green cabbage
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: grated Parmesan cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage and slice it into 1-inch thick steaks.
  3. Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the cabbage and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the edges are crispy and golden brown.
  6. If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top during the last 5 minutes of roasting.
  7. Remove from the oven and serve warm.
