Description

Herbed Ricotta Stuffed Chicken Rolls are a delicious and flavorful dish that combines tender chicken breasts with a creamy herbed ricotta filling, perfect for a special dinner or a family meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, basil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Flatten the chicken breasts using a meat mallet to an even thickness.
  4. Spread the ricotta mixture evenly over each chicken breast.
  5. Roll up each chicken breast tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  6. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken rolls on all sides until golden brown.
  7. Transfer the chicken rolls to a baking dish and pour marinara sauce over them.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  9. Remove toothpicks before serving and enjoy!
