Description

A decadent dish featuring tender chicken topped with ranch dressing, cheddar cheese, and crispy fried onions, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions (store-bought)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: garlic powder, smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken in a greased baking dish with space between each piece.
  4. Brush barbecue sauce over each breast.
  5. Spoon ranch dressing evenly over the chicken.
  6. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches 165°F and the cheese is golden.
  8. Sprinkle fried onions over the top in the last minutes of baking.
  9. Remove from the oven and let rest for 3-5 minutes before serving.
