Description

A comforting dish featuring crispy Parmesan crusted chicken topped with a creamy garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 thin chicken cutlets
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (for sauce)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or thyme for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare Chicken: Season cutlets with salt and pepper.
  2. Coat Cutlets: Dredge in flour, dip in eggs, coat with breadcrumb-Parmesan mixture.
  3. Pan-Fry: Heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat and cook cutlets until golden brown, about 3–4 minutes per side.
  4. Make Sauce: In the same skillet, add butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in chicken broth and heavy cream, whisk in ¼ cup of Parmesan until smooth, and simmer until thickened.
  5. Combine: Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over cutlets, and simmer to meld flavors.
  6. Serve: Garnish with parsley or thyme and enjoy!

Notes

For a healthier alternative, consider air frying the chicken.
