- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2–3 green chilies, sliced
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- Spices: cumin seeds, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander for garnish
- Cooking oil
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
- Sauté onions until golden brown.
- Stir in ginger-garlic paste and green chilies.
- Add the ground meat, breaking it up and cooking until browned.
- Incorporate chopped tomatoes and spices. Cook until the tomatoes soften.
- Add diced potatoes and enough water to cover. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer.
- Finish with garam masala and cook briefly.
- Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
