Description

Homemade raspberry swirl ice cream combining creamy sweetness with vibrant raspberry flavor, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Make the raspberry puree by blending fresh raspberries until smooth, then strain through a mesh sieve if desired.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt; whisk until well blended.
  3. Gently fold in the raspberry puree to create a swirl effect.
  4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until soft-serve consistency, about 20-25 minutes.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container, smooth the top, seal, and let freeze for at least 4 hours until firm.
  6. Scoop and serve the ice cream in bowls or cones.

Notes

Consider making the raspberry puree a day in advance to streamline preparation. Avoid overchurning to prevent a grainy texture.
