Description

A succulent stuffed chicken dish filled with a rich and creamy mixture of spinach, cream cheese, and mozzarella, reminiscent of fine dining experiences.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Toss in the fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.
  4. Combine cream cheese, mozzarella, sautéed spinach, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl until creamy.
  5. Cut a pocket into each chicken breast without slicing all the way through.
  6. Spoon the creamy filling into each chicken pocket.
  7. Sear the chicken breasts in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  8. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  9. Rest the chicken for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Use toothpicks to seal chicken pockets if needed. Experiment with different cheeses or add vegetables to the filling for unique flavors.
