Description

A thrilling fusion of classic burger flavors and taco convenience, these smash burger tacos offer a delightful blend of textures and tastes, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 4 flour tortillas (6 inches)
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil (vegetable, canola, or avocado)
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • Dill pickle chips
  • Shredded iceberg lettuce

Instructions

  1. Divide the ground beef into four equal portions, shaping them into patties.
  2. On each tortilla, spread one beef portion and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, adding the neutral oil.
  4. Place the tortilla meat-side down in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Flip the taco, adding a slice of cheese on top, and cook for another 1-3 minutes until melted.
  6. Remove cooked tacos and repeat with remaining ingredients. Assemble with sauce, lettuce, onions, and pickle chips.
