Description

A delicious fusion dish featuring spicy glazed chicken served over a bed of hummus, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup hummus
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup chopped vegetables (bell peppers, cucumbers, etc.)
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, and sriracha to create the glaze.
  2. Marinate the chicken breasts in the glaze for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the marinated chicken until fully cooked.
  4. Remove the chicken from the pan and let it rest before slicing.
  5. In a serving bowl, spread a layer of hummus and top with cooked rice.
  6. Slice the chicken and place it on top of the rice and hummus.
  7. Add chopped vegetables and garnish with fresh cilantro.

Notes

  • Adjust the spiciness by adding more or less sriracha.
  • Can substitute chicken with tofu for a vegetarian option.
  • Serve with pita bread for a complete meal.
