Description

A delicious and vibrant bowl featuring tender steak, creamy avocado, and sweet roasted corn, all drizzled with a zesty cilantro cream sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 cup corn kernels (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then cook to your desired doneness.
  3. While the steak is cooking, heat a small amount of olive oil in a pan and add the corn. Sauté until the corn is slightly charred.
  4. In a bowl, mix the sour cream, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and a pinch of salt to create the cilantro cream sauce.
  5. Once the steak is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it thinly.
  6. Assemble the bowl by placing sliced steak, avocado, and roasted corn in a bowl, then drizzle with cilantro cream sauce.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños to the bowl.
  • This dish can be served warm or cold.
  • Leftover steak can be used in salads or sandwiches.
