Description

Ingredients

  • 8 oz penne or linguine pasta
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes, chopped parsley, grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. Sauté the Garlic: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  3. Cook the Chicken: Season chicken with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Place in skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Create the Sauce: Stir in soy sauce and honey, let it simmer until it thickens.
  5. Toss Everything Together: Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss with reserved pasta water until well-coated.
  6. Serve: Plate the pasta and garnish with chopped parsley and Parmesan cheese. Serve warm.

Notes

Make the chicken and sauce in advance to save time. Air fry the chicken for a crispy texture if desired. Add seasonal vegetables for extra nutrition.
