Description

Indulge in the luxurious flavors of ribeye steak and succulent shrimp drizzled in a rich creamy garlic sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ribeye or strip steaks (1-inch thick)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp butter (for basting)
  • ½ lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
  • Mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice for serving
  • Steamed asparagus, green beans, or roasted broccoli for serving
  • Lemon wedges for garnish

Instructions

  1. Start by patting the steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Let rest for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon of butter during the last minute for extra flavor. Transfer steaks to a plate and cover with foil to rest.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, and add shrimp seasoned with salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  5. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp before removing them from the skillet.
  6. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute.
  7. Pour in heavy cream and simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, cooking for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  8. Slice steak if desired, and plate alongside shrimp. Drizzle with creamy garlic sauce and garnish with parsley.

Notes

Resting the steak is crucial for juicy results. Adjust cooking times based on the thickness of the steak and shrimp.
