Description

A delightful Banana Cream Cheese Cobbler that combines ripe bananas and creamy cream cheese for a warm and comforting dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese with the sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and optional cinnamon in another bowl.
  4. Fold the dry mixture into the cream cheese mixture, alternating with the milk, until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the banana slices.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared dish, smoothing the top.
  7. Drizzle the melted butter over the batter.
  8. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top turns golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before slicing—then serve warm.

Notes

Use overly ripe bananas for maximum sweetness. Make-ahead tips: Prepare the batter the night before and store it in the refrigerator.
