Description
A comforting dish featuring rotini pasta and ground beef enveloped in a luxurious garlic Parmesan cream sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 ounces rotini pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Rotini: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the rotini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a bit of pasta water for the sauce if needed.
- Brown the Beef: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, cooking until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat, leaving behind a little for flavor.
- Sauté the Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the skillet with the beef and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Create the Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Combine and Season: Fold the cooked rotini into the sauce, ensuring it’s well-coated. If needed, drizzle in a bit of reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency. Season generously with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve Hot: Transfer to serving plates and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
Notes
For meal prep, store the pasta and sauce separately to maintain optimal texture. Customize with additional vegetables or spices for a personal touch.
