- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the wet ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, and vanilla extract. Use an electric mixer to stir until smooth and creamy.
- Prepare the dry ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, powdered sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Combine mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Add chocolate chips and zest: Fold in the mini chocolate chips and orange zest.
- Scoop the dough: Using a cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges turn lightly golden.
- Cool and enjoy: Allow the cookies to cool slightly on the sheet before transferring them to a wire rack.
