Description

Delicious Cannoli Cookies that blend classic Italian flavors with the convenience of a cookie format.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the wet ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, and vanilla extract. Use an electric mixer to stir until smooth and creamy.
  3. Prepare the dry ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, powdered sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Combine mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  5. Add chocolate chips and zest: Fold in the mini chocolate chips and orange zest.
  6. Scoop the dough: Using a cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges turn lightly golden.
  8. Cool and enjoy: Allow the cookies to cool slightly on the sheet before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes
