Description

Fluffy cinnamon rolls infused with grated carrots and warm spices, topped with rich cream cheese frosting.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream cheese frosting

Instructions

  1. Combine Yeast Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it’s frothy.
  2. Whisk Dry Ingredients: In a separate large bowl, whisk together flour and salt.
  3. Form the Dough: Pour the yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg into the dry ingredients. Stir until it forms a rough dough.
  4. Knead Effortlessly: Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Add Carrots & Spices: Fold in grated carrots, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  6. Let It Rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes.
  7. Prepare for Rolling: Roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  8. Spread the Cream Cheese: Spread cream cheese across the surface of the dough.
  9. Roll Up the Dough: Roll tightly from one edge to form a log and cut into 1-inch pieces.
  10. Final Risen Bliss: Let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes in a greased baking dish.
  11. Bake to Perfection: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  12. Mix the Frosting: Prepare the frosting by mixing cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
