- 1 bag frozen hashbrowns
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, pepper jack, or Monterey Jack)
- 2 cups Doritos (crushed)
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned; drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the taco seasoning, cream of chicken soup, and sour cream.
- Combine hashbrowns, beef mixture, and half of the shredded cheese in a large mixing bowl.
- Spread the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Top with the remaining shredded cheese and crushed Doritos.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Make-ahead tips: Prepare the casserole a day in advance and store in the refrigerator until ready to bake. For a vegetarian option, replace beef with black beans.
