Description

A comforting chicken casserole topped with crispy tater tots and melty cheese, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken, cooked and shredded
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 bag of frozen tater tots
  • 1/2 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and mixed vegetables if using. Mix well.
  3. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Spread the chicken mixture evenly across the bottom.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
  6. Arrange the tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
