Description

A delightful combination of tender chicken thighs coated in a sweet and smoky chipotle honey glaze, paired with rich smoked gouda mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons chipotle honey sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup smoked gouda cheese, shredded
  • Butter, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix chipotle honey, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Coat the chicken thighs with the mixture and place them in a baking dish.
  4. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.
  5. Meanwhile, boil the potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes.
  6. Drain and mash the potatoes with milk and butter.
  7. Stir in the smoked gouda until melted and creamy.
  8. Serve the chicken thighs with the smoked gouda mashed potatoes.

Notes

Marinate the chicken up to 24 hours before cooking for enhanced flavor. Use an air fryer for a quicker, crispier result.
