- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips (and/or M&M’s)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Set aside.
- Cream together the softened butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips (and/or M&M’s).
- Drop tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
