Description

Ingredients

  • 100g All-Purpose Flour
  • 100g Active Sourdough Starter
  • 50g Cocoa Powder
  • 100g Water
  • 50g Sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine dry ingredients: In a mixing bowl, add 100g of all-purpose flour, 50g of cocoa powder, and 50g of sugar. Whisk them together vigorously until mixed uniformly.
  2. Add wet ingredients: Pour in 100g of your active sourdough starter, followed by 100g of water.
  3. Mix thoroughly: Blend all ingredients until the mixture forms a smooth, soft batter.
  4. Let it rise: Cover the bowl with a clean cloth, allowing to ferment at room temperature for 12-24 hours until bubbly.
  5. Ready to use: Once bubbly and risen, your chocolate sourdough starter is ready for baking adventures!

Notes

Make ahead the night before for extra flavor development. You can also adjust water for desired consistency.
