- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Red food coloring
- Blue food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the softened butter with granulated and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 3–5 minutes.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually introduce the dry mixture into the creamed butter mixture until just combined.
- Divide the dough in half. Add red food coloring to one half and blue to the other, mixing until vibrant.
- Swirl the red and blue doughs together for a marbled effect.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool on wire racks before serving.
