- 1 package of berry-flavored gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 package of cream cheese (8 oz)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Graham crackers or sponge cake for layering
- Fresh berries for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Dissolve the berry-flavored gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water until fully combined. Stir in the cold water and refrigerate for about 2 hours.
- Beat the cream cheese in another bowl until silky smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fluffy.
- Whip the heavy cream in another large bowl until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
- Layer graham crackers or sponge cake on the bottom of a 9×13 dish, then spoon half of the cream cheese filling and half of the set gelatin over it.
- Repeat the process with another layer of graham crackers or sponge cake, the remaining cream cheese filling, and the final layer of gelatin.
- Top with fresh berries, if desired, and cover the dish with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
- Serve chilled, cutting the dessert into squares. Enjoy!
