Description

A rich and creamy slow-cooked chicken dish, perfect for busy weeknights or family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 package ranch seasoning mix
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup chopped mushrooms (optional)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or pasta for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by placing it in the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. Mix the cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, and cream cheese in a bowl.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken breasts.
  4. Add mushrooms on top if using.
  5. Set the crock pot to cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Season with salt and pepper when cooking is complete.
  7. Serve over rice or pasta, adding shredded cheese if desired.

Notes

Let chicken sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking for even results.
