Description

A comforting, layered dish of ravioli, marinara, and cheese cooked effortlessly in a crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen ravioli (cheese or meat-filled)
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef (or sausage)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the meat in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning it with salt and pepper.
  2. Layer half of the frozen ravioli at the bottom of your slow cooker.
  3. Add half of the browned meat mixture over the ravioli.
  4. Dollop half of the ricotta cheese over the meat sauce.
  5. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, meat sauce, ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  7. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Consider adding sautéed vegetables for extra nutrition. Can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for easy cooking later.
