Description

A delightful combination of tender chicken, vibrant vegetables, and chewy noodles coated in sweet teriyaki sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or weekend feasts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Chicken Breast (sliced)
  • 8 oz Noodles (egg noodles or udon)
  • 1 Bell Pepper (sliced)
  • 1 cup Broccoli Florets
  • 1 Carrot (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup Teriyaki Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Garlic Cloves (minced)
  • 1 inch Ginger (minced)
  • Sesame Seeds (for garnish)
  • Green Onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Noodles: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the noodles and follow package instructions, cooking until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the Oil: In your large skillet or wok, pour in vegetable oil and heat over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Sauté the Aromatics: Introduce minced garlic and ginger into the hot oil. Sauté for about 30 seconds.
  4. Brown the Chicken: Add sliced chicken to the pan, ensuring even cooking. Let it brown for about 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Add the Vegetables: Stir in bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots, allowing them to cook until tender yet still crisp for about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Incorporate the Sauces: Pour in the teriyaki and soy sauces, tossing everything together.
  7. Combine with Noodles: Add your drained noodles, gently tossing everything together for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  8. Garnish and Serve: Transfer the dish to a serving platter, showering it with sesame seeds and green onions.
