Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) and place your empty Dutch oven inside.
  2. Mix the flour, yogurt, sour cream, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Adjust the consistency by adding water if the dough feels too dry.
  4. Knead the dough gently on a floured surface for a few minutes.
  5. Shape the dough into a round loaf, and let it rest for about 30 minutes.
  6. Transfer the loaf into the preheated Dutch oven, cover it, and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden-brown.
  8. Cool the bread for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
