Delicious and guilt-free cinnamon rolls made with Greek yogurt, perfect for breakfast or a sweet treat.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup non-fat Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon melted butter (for brushing)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze, optional)
- 1–2 tablespoons milk (for glaze, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl.
- Fold in the Greek yogurt and applesauce until a soft dough forms.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle about 1/4-inch thick.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log, then cut into 1-inch thick pieces.
- Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet and brush with melted butter.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Glaze with a mixture of powdered sugar and milk if desired.
Notes
For make-ahead convenience, prepare the rolled dough and refrigerate overnight instead of baking immediately.
