Description

A blissful treat combining ripe bananas, creamy peanut butter, and rich dark chocolate, frozen for a delightful experience.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)
  • Sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice the bananas into thick rounds.
  2. Spread a layer of peanut butter on one slice and top with another banana slice.
  3. Place the banana sandwiches on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Freeze for about 1 hour, or until firm.
  5. Combine chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl and melt them in 30-second increments.
  6. Dip each banana sandwich in the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  7. Return them to the baking sheet and sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
  8. Freeze again until the chocolate is set, about 30 minutes.
