- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)
- Sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the bananas into thick rounds.
- Spread a layer of peanut butter on one slice and top with another banana slice.
- Place the banana sandwiches on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Freeze for about 1 hour, or until firm.
- Combine chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl and melt them in 30-second increments.
- Dip each banana sandwich in the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Return them to the baking sheet and sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
- Freeze again until the chocolate is set, about 30 minutes.
