Description

A creamy, delicious blend of chickpeas and taco-inspired flavors perfect for dipping with chips or veggies.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup pico de gallo
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients in a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth, scraping down sides as necessary.
  3. Incorporate pico de gallo into the mixture.
  4. Serve chilled and garnish with cilantro.
  5. Enjoy with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.

Notes

Taco Hummus can be prepared up to two days in advance and stored in the fridge. It’s best served chilled.
