Ingredients

- 1 can chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup pico de gallo
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Combine ingredients in a blender or food processor.
- Blend until smooth, scraping down sides as necessary.
- Incorporate pico de gallo into the mixture.
- Serve chilled and garnish with cilantro.
- Enjoy with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.
Notes
Taco Hummus can be prepared up to two days in advance and stored in the fridge. It’s best served chilled.
