Description

A luxurious, creamy Tortellini Alfredo paired with vibrant broccoli florets for a perfect balance of flavor and freshness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Cheese Tortellini
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Broccoli Florets
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Optional: Cooked Chicken, Steak, or Seafood

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Tortellini: Cook the tortellini in a large pot of salted boiling water according to the package instructions, about 5-7 minutes, until they are al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt the Butter: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until it sizzles.
  3. Sauté the Garlic: Add the minced garlic, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the Cream: Pour in the heavy cream and allow to simmer gently, stirring occasionally.
  5. Whisk in the Cheese: Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese, melting it into a silky sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Cook the Broccoli: Stir in the broccoli florets and cook for 2-3 minutes until tender and bright green.
  7. Combine the Tortellini: Toss the cooked tortellini in the sauce, ensuring they are well coated. If too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water.
  8. Serve and Garnish: Plate warm, garnishing with additional cooked chicken or herbs if desired.

Notes

Make ahead of time and reheat gently. Customize with seasonal vegetables for a fresh twist.
